Tom Cuson Graduates and Heads to Parris Island
Tom Cuson, a recent graduate of Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia, left for Parris Island Monday, May 31, to enter Marine Boot Camp. This past Sunday, May 30, the congregation of St. Andrew’s Church took time to celebrate Tom’s successful graduation from high school and to also bless him as he prepares to become a Marine. During the service, Father Randall presented Tom with a copy of My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers, a card signed by the congregation, and a personal letter of advice and encouragement from The Most Rev’d David Epps, Bishop of the Mid-South Diocese and Marine. The congregation then gathered around Tom for a time of prayer and ministry. After the service, the congregation shared with Tom in a special Agape Meal prepared in his honor.
