If you have visited our website from time to time and listened to the sermons posted on the website, you will have noticed that they are not the most current sermons preached at St. Andrew’s. It is our hope to remedy this soon and begin uploading the most recent sermon on a weekly basis. However, at this time our recording equipment has had a malfunction hampering our ability to record. Keep checking back. We will eventually correct the problem. In the meantime, we are posting sermons from our archives for your edification and enjoyment.

On Saturday, January 23, a training session for those wishing to serve as Licensed Liturgical Ministers (also known as Lay Eucharistic Ministers) will be conducted at The Cathedral of Christ the King. The session will begin at 9:00 a.m. and be concluded by 2:00 p.m. The Rev’d Canon Dan Hale will be the instructor. Persons who wish to participate must have the approval or their Rector/Vicar. Any confirmed member of St. Andrew’s Church interested in participating in this training should speak with Father Randall Allen as soon as possible. There is no charge for this training which is open to men and women who are confirmed members of the Charismatic Episcopal Church.
A simple service of worship at St. Andrew’s Church in Covington on New Year’s Eve was made exceptional by the wonderful leadership of Music Minister Jack Herbert and the ministry of St. Andrew’s Music Team. An informal, liturgy-lite service, St. Andrew’s Watch Night service included not only worship in song but a time of praise and thanksgiving by those in attendance, a sermon by Father Randall Allen, ministry time for those seeking prayer, an extended Prayers of the People, ending with the celebration for Holy Communion. But according to Father Randall what made the night so special was the enthusiastic ministry of the St. Andrew’s Music Ministry. “They came ready, they came expecting, and they came to help lead God’s people in worship,” observed Father Randall, “I was so proud of all of them and their committment to fulfill their ministry with such devotion.”
