In Loving Memory – Dorothy Marhefka
February 23rd, 2010Dorothy Coyle Marhefka was born April 6, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York. She was the oldest of three girls: Dorothy, Carol and Virginia and one boy, Joseph. She married Russell Marhefka in 1955 and they were married for more than 54 years. Dorothy is survived by her husband Russ, her five children: Geri Marhefka Lauria (Manny), Brian, Russ (Heather), Chris (Kristi) and Scott (Kim). Her seven grandchildren are: Manny and Geri’s children, Ashley, Courtney and Jonathan Lauria; Russ and Heather’s children, Joneh and Nate Marhefka; and Scott and Kim’s children, Jessica and Kyle Marhefka. Dorothy was a generous soul with a loving, happy heart. Dorothy slipped the bonds of this earth and went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 18, 2010. She is greatly missed.
