Deacon Jason Epps Preaches at the Cathedral
November 12th, 2009Deacon Jason Epps, 37, recently preached his first Sunday morning sermon at The Cathedral of Christ the King, Sharpsburg, GA. Epps was filling the pulpit for his father, Bishop David Epps, who was out of town. Epps, a lieutenant in the Criminal Investigation Department of the Peachtree City Police Department, spoke on the subject, “Theosis–Becoming Christ-like.” A graduate of Georgia State University, he has completed all course work at St. Michael’s Seminary for the Master of Ministry degree. He and his wife, Jessica, reside in Senoia with their four children.
